Position: In-School Facilitator & Teacher Support Consultant

Project: SAFE-MIT (Awareness against Irregular Migration & Trafficking)

Organization: Youth Empowerment Society (YES)

Location: Morocco (Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region / School-Based Field Activities)

Assignment Duration: Implementation of 25 In-School Sessions and Teacher Accompaniment Activities

Languages Required: Moroccan Darija & Arabic

 

  1. Position Summary

The consultant will be responsible for facilitating 25 in-school awareness sessions with students in participating schools under the SAFE-MIT project. In addition, the consultant will provide on-site accompaniment to participating teachers during their first classroom implementation sessions, ensuring the effective use of project educational materials and methodologies.

The consultant will also support monitoring and evaluation activities through the administration of pre- and post-assessments, data collection, reporting, and coordination with schools and teachers throughout the implementation period.

 

  1. Scope of Work & Responsibilities

The selected consultant will work closely with the Project’s Operations Officer (EOO) and perform the following core tasks:

  • In-School Session Facilitation
  • Plan and facilitate 25 In-School Sessions with students in participating schools using the SAFE-MIT educational methodology and tools.
  • Ensure active participation and engagement of students during all sessions.
  • Document session implementation and report on achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.

 

  • Teacher Accompaniment
  • mentoring to participating teachers during their first classroom implementation sessions.
  • Support teachers in applying SAFE-MIT educational materials and methodologies.

 

 

  • Evaluation Support & Data Management
  • Distribute, collect, and organize Baseline (Pre-tests) and Endline (Post-tests) evaluation questionnaires from teachers and students.
  • Ensure accurate data collection during all in-school sessions.
  • Enter and digitize collected data into project databases (Excel, Google Forms, or other designated M&E systems).

 

  • Coordination & Logistical Support
  • Coordinate with schools and teachers to schedule sessions and confirm participation.
  • Maintain updated contact databases and implementation records.
  • Ensure the availability and distribution of educational materials and session tools.
  • Support logistical arrangements required for successful implementation of project activities.

To guarantee professional tracking, deliverables must follow the implementation progress of the 25 In-School Sessions:

Validated Participant Database & Session Schedule: Completely updated and verified contact registry of participating teachers and finalized implementation schedule for the 25 in-school sessions.

Before the launch of sessions

Phase 2

Mid-Term Digitized Data Ledger: Successful entry, cleaning, and digitization of at least 50% of the collected Pre-tests and monitoring forms from the completed sessions.

After completion of Session 12

Phase 3

Pre-Final Field Verification Asset: Entry of remaining monitoring data and preliminary attendance and participation analysis covering at least 80% of implemented sessions.

After completion of Session 20

Phase 4

Final Field Operations & Evaluation Report: Complete digital database containing 100% of inputted Pre/Post-tests, organized attendance archives, and a final operational report highlighting achievements, challenges, and lessons learned from all 25 in-school sessions.

Upon completion of Session 25

  1. Required Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of field experience in associative project coordination, data entry, monitoring and evaluation support, or logistical assistance with civil society organizations (NGOs).
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace (Forms, Sheets, Drive), and data management. Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication skills in Moroccan Darija and Arabic; proven ability to interact professionally with public educators, school teachers, and youth participants.
  1. Evaluation Criteria (100 Points)
  • Technical Skills & Data Management Capacity (40 pts): Evaluation of Excel/data entry skills, technical screening, and capability to manage M&E data collection and reporting requirements.
  • Field Coordination & Practical Experience (40 pts): Assessment of previous experience in supporting educational activities, workshops, awareness sessions, and stakeholder communication.
  • NGO & Social Impact Alignment (10 pts): Prior understanding of civil society operations, educational projects, youth empowerment, or community engagement initiatives.
  • Financial Proposal (10 pts): All-inclusive cost covering consultancy fees and any related administrative expenses for supporting the implementation of the 25 in-school sessions.
  1. Submission Guidelines

  1. Technical Proposal: Updated CV outlining relevant experience in field coordination, data entry, monitoring and evaluation support, and proficiency in Excel/Google Workspace tools.
  2. Financial Proposal: Fixed lump-sum price covering the full consultancy assignment linked to the implementation of the 25 in-school sessions.
