Position: Media Expert (Documentation & Content Production)

Project: SAFE-MIT (Awareness against Irregular Migration & Trafficking)

Organization: Youth Empowerment Society (YES)

Location: Morocco (Field visits required)

Duration: 30 Days (Consultancy)

1. Objective

The Media Expert will be responsible for the high-quality visual documentation of all SAFE-MIT project phases. The goal is to capture the essence of the project’s activities—from workshops and community outreach to expert sessions—and transform these moments into engaging visual assets and “best-off” capsules for digital and institutional use.

2. Scope of Work & Responsibilities
A. Audiovisual Documentation
  • Photography: Capture high-resolution professional photographs of all project milestones, including participants’ engagement, trainers, and field interventions.

  • Video Production: Film key moments of the project activities, ensuring high-quality audio and stable visuals (B-roll and interviews).

B. Editing & Post-Production
  • Best-Off Capsules: Edit and produce a series of short “Best-Off” video capsules (30–60 seconds) summarizing each project phase or specific activity.

  • Photo Curation: Deliver a curated and edited digital photo library, organized by activity, for use in reports and on social media.

  • Branding: Apply all project branding (YES, Seefar, MMD III logos) and necessary disclaimers on all visual outputs.

C. Storytelling
  • Identify and document “Success Stories” or impactful moments through photography and short video interviews.

  • Ensure all documented content follows ethical guidelines and that “Informed Consent” is obtained from all filmed participants.

3. Key Deliverables
  1. Phase-Based Video Capsules: A minimum of 20 short-form videos optimized for Reels and Stories (covering project phases).

  2. Professional Photo Bank: A comprehensive digital archive of at least 100 high-quality edited photos.

  3. B-Roll Archive: A library of raw video footage for future institutional use.

  4. Final Summary Video: A 2-minute “Project Journey” video consolidating all documented phases.

4. Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience in field photography and video production, preferably with NGOs.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in professional photo/video editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom/Photoshop).

  • Equipment: Must possess professional-grade camera, audio, and lighting equipment.

  • Mobility: Ability to travel to different project locations within Morocco to document activities on-site.
